Salvador Montoya

A love for animals and an opportunity to work with them brought Salvador to Prestage Farms in 2009. As manager of one of our sow farms, Salvador oversees daily operations, provides leadership and direction to farm staff, and ensures herd health and safety of the animals and employees. While his coworkers are a highlight of his job, caring for the farrowing sows and young piglets is his favorite part of working at Prestage Farms. When he’s not exercising his animal care skills, you can find him enjoying quality time with his two young children.
